Title: Teamwork frictions in a Ricardian framework

Abstract: We introduce frictions in the Ricardian team production model, which create
strategic interactions in teamwork. Specifically, these frictions stem from a partial congruence of the players’ preferences with the team’s objective. We characterize the equilibria of the resulting interaction and obtain conditions for the efficient effort functions to constitute an equilibrium.
